PewDiePie made her the focus of his video about gaming shortly after she hit 50,000 subscribers, about one and a half months after her debut video. In August 2017, she was interviewed by Shane Dawson for his video, and soon afterward, reached a million YouTube viewers. Wired UK calculated that she made $1,000 every day on her YouTube channel in February of 2019.

Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer were the parents of Helfer when she was born. Her birthplace was in the town of Donalda, Alberta Canada. Her parents are Elaine and Dennis Helfer. She studied at William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler, Alberta. She had three sisters. Tammy, Tara, and Trena also worked with her on the grain farm. When she was waiting in line at a theatre an scout from a modelling agency observed Helfer.
